Brief Introduction

Dr Sandhya Singh join the Centre for Language Studies as a full time Hindi language convenor and lecturer in 2016. Prior to joining NUS, She was the coordinator for Hindi language programme at Nanyang technological University (NTU) where she set up the Hindi programme. As HOD of modern languages,she developed the curriculum of Hindi at  NPS International School, Singapore. She has done her Ph.D from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) researching “सिंगापुर में हिन्दी और भोजपुरी के विकास की दिशाओं का अध्ययन” (development of Hindi and Bhojpuri in Singapore). Here at NUS she will be the Hindi convenor coordinating elementary, intermediate and advanced Hindi modules as well as lecturing Hindi to students. She will be the Tamil convenor as well.
